Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill in our consultation form, use our website assistant, book a call or email us, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, company or brand name, Etsy shop or website link, business model, goals and your message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics tools record technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and the date and time of your visit. If you accept analytics cookies, we use this data in aggregated form to understand how the website is used.

How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange your free consultation.
• To prepare proposals and deliver the services you agree to.
• To send you information you asked for, and service-related messages.
• To improve our website, content and services.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Booking, chat and third-party services

We use trusted providers to run this website and our business. Calls are booked through Cal.com, which processes your name, email and booking details under its own privacy policy. Our website and email are hosted by Hostinger. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics processes usage data. We share only what each provider needs to perform its service.

Our website assistant answers questions from our own FAQ. It does not use an external AI service. Messages you send through its contact form are delivered to our team by email.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar storage that the website needs to work, such as remembering your chat conversation during a visit. Analytics cookies are used only if you accept them in our cookie notice. You can change your choice at any time by clearing cookies in your browser.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry and consultation records for up to 24 months after our last contact, and client records for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal and accounting requirements, usually up to 7 years. After that we delete or anonymize them.

How we protect information

Form submissions are stored on our own hosting, not in a third-party marketing database. We use HTTPS encryption, password-protected systems and limited staff access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will act promptly if a problem occurs.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws, and people in the UK and European Economic Area, can exercise these rights by emailing info@softstallions.net. We will not discriminate against you for using your rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

International visitors

We are based in the United States and work with clients worldwide. If you contact us from outside the US, your information will be processed in the US and in the countries where our providers operate, with safeguards appropriate to the service.

Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of softstallions.net and the consulting services provided by Soft Stallions LLC ("Soft Stallions", "we", "us"). By using the website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.

Our services

Soft Stallions provides Etsy marketplace consulting, including business model guidance, shop setup support, product, keyword and competitor research, listing creation and optimization, Etsy SEO and growth consulting. The exact scope, deliverables, timeline and price of each engagement are set out in a written proposal, package description or invoice that you accept before work begins. If that document conflicts with these terms, the document for your engagement applies.

No guaranteed results

Etsy search placement, traffic and sales depend on many factors outside our control, including Etsy's algorithms and policies, competition, pricing, product quality and buyer demand. We provide professional advice and work based on research and best practice, but we do not guarantee rankings, traffic, sales, revenue or any specific result.

Your responsibilities

• Your Etsy shop and seller account always belong to you and must be in your own name. We never create, sell or transfer Etsy accounts.
• You are responsible for following Etsy's Terms of Use, Seller Policy and Creativity Standards, and all laws that apply to your products and business.
• You confirm that you have the right to use any product images, designs, brand names and content you give us.
• You provide accurate information and timely feedback so we can complete the work.

Fees and payment

Package prices are shown in US dollars on our website and may change, but the price in your accepted proposal or invoice is fixed for that engagement. One-time packages are paid in advance unless agreed otherwise. Monthly plans are billed in advance each month and continue until cancelled. You can cancel a monthly plan with 14 days' written notice; work already completed or scheduled for the current month is not refundable. If we cannot start a paid one-time project, we will refund the full amount.

Intellectual property

When you have paid in full, you own the final deliverables we create specifically for your shop, such as listing titles, tags, descriptions and research reports. We keep ownership of our methods, templates, tools and general know-how, and we may reuse non-confidential, non-identifying insights. The content and design of this website belong to Soft Stallions LLC and may not be copied without permission.

Confidentiality

We keep your business information, shop data and results confidential and use them only to deliver our services. We will not name you as a client or publish your results or review without your permission.

Third-party platforms

Etsy is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. Soft Stallions is an independent consultancy and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Etsy, Inc. Links to third-party websites and tools are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or policies.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soft Stallions is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost sales or account actions taken by Etsy. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service in the three months before the claim. The website and its content are provided "as is" for general information.

Indemnity

You agree to cover any claims, losses or costs that arise from products you sell, content you provide to us, or your breach of these terms or of Etsy's policies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida, unless the law of your country requires otherwise. We will always try to resolve concerns informally first.
